One day

I have always suffered from wanderlust and wanting to move and travel. I love experiencing new places and cultures. There is so much to see in the world and so little time. One of my dreams right now is to go to Australia. I think I would love living in Melbourne. My family and I used to go to Australia quite a bit when we lived in Singapore and even though I was young I still remember it’s beauty. I need sunshine and a warmer climate. I am obsessed with warmth and the summer. Maybe it’s because we’re so deprived of it here in the North 😛 I am hoping that one day sometime in the future we will end up there. The only thing stopping us really is the distance. It is very far away! However, as one of my friends has said, once you live in a different country it doesn’t really matter the time difference from home. Right now I see my family and friends about twice a year and Skype every other month and that can still be done even when you live further away.

I love dreaming and thinking what will happen after university. I feel like the opportunities are endless and that finally your dreams and hopes that you’ve had about your life when you have been growing up are finally within your reach. I am dreaming of Jamie owning all these amazing world renowned cocktail bars and for me to work with something that I am truly passionate with. Right now Jamie seems pretty set on what his future is going to be and I’m so happy for him to have these visions and dreams. For me, I’m just excited to think of where I will end up. Time will tell.

Madeleine Moves is a blog celebrating a love of exercise, food, travelling and life. I love being active, exercising and being out and about. With my blog I hope to spread this joy and inspire you to be your best. Who am I? I’m Madeleine (surprise). I’m a Swede who lives in the vibrant city of Glasgow in Scotland. I moved here for my university studies and in summer 2016 I graduated with a degree in Business and Management at University of Glasgow. My keyword has always been balance. I love eating healthy food but I also love to indulge once in a while. You need to enjoy life at the end of the day and limiting yourself is not the way to go. With this I would like to say welcome to Madeleine Moves. Love, Madeleine
