The day after

(Jamie toasted my bread for slightly too long 😛 )

This morning I felt surprisingly alive and well considering yesterday’s celebrations. I got up and the sun was shining and the skies were blue. What an amazing first day of summer. I decided to take a walk as I decided the gym wasn’t a good idea, don’t want to put unnecessary strain on my body. I ended walking for over an hour because of the weather being so nice! I was really warm in just my thin jacket and hoodie, which hasn’t happened in ages!

Jamie and I had a really nice breakfast when I got back, he enjoyed some bacon with his eggs whilst I had smoked salmon. So nice and tasty!

I find it important to try and move a day after drinking, even though if it’s just a walk and then get back on track with eating nutritious and delicious food. It is so easy to to order take out and lots of fatty food but I find a nice meal with healthy fats like avocado and salmon in it is even nicer and better for you!

Tonight it is time for Eurovision! Emma and Kamila are coming over for dinner and we’re watching it together. So excited! Go Sweden!
