I am back in Glasgow and back here writing in the blog. Sorry for disappearing there but it was so frustrating with the internet in Arisaig so I gave up. I just got back from a lovely dinner with my friend Iain. I haven’t seen him for ages and it was so nice catching up with him! Sadly he is moving to London soon so I have to make the most of him still being here in Glasgow. We ate so much that my stomach is a bit sore now! The Greek food at Yiamas is amazing though. However, Athena’s still takes the lead in my books when it comes to Greek food in Glasgow.
I thought I would write a bit about my trip to the Highlands and all the amazing places we go to see. We drove up with Jamie’s dad on Sunday and he planned the route so we cold stop in Oban on the way up. A slight detour but completely worth it.
Oban is a beautiful little town on the west coast that all started around their whisky distillery (I got their whisky for my dad is a gift when I went home and he seemed very pleased with it). When we arrived the sun was shining and it was very busy with people out enjoying the nice warm day along the seaside. We stayed there for lunch and had a little stroll before we had to continue our journey up to Arisaig.
