Had a lovely day off and started off with a gym session. My shoulders and neck have unfortunately gotten worse and I now it is way overdue that I get it checked out. This time I’ve decided to turn to an osteopath and see if they finally have the solution to my horrible pains in my shoulders and neck plus tension headaches… It has come to the point where I have to avoid several exercises to avoid pain and it is hence affecting my training… Not good so I’m I’m really hoping that my appointment on Wednesday will be the start to recovery.
Because it is getting warmer I am really enjoying eating salads for lunch! It is not nice, light and refreshing. For lunch I had a goats cheese salad with walnuts, spinach, a leftover lettuce mix, tomatoes, red peppers, cucumber and carrot. As always, with a splash of balsamic vinegar. Yummy!
Another amazing snack that I love when I am craving something light and sweet during the summer is fruits and berries with some greek yoghurt. Some top it up with a drizzle of honey but I think the berries and fruit are sweet enough. If you are wondering what the brown stuff is on top it is ground flaxseeds, extremely good for you! Full of omega 3s and fibres.
Today Jamie and I are off to his sister’s plus family and his dad for lunch. We are both really looking forward to seeing them all! The sun is peeking out too so maybe we will be able to sit outside!
