One thing I really struggled with when I was changing my eating habits was what to snack on when hungry whilst I was out and about or just feeling like having something sweet to nibble on. I would love to make raw bars but so far I have not come around to it. Here is where my love for Nakd Bars comes in. Nakd Bars are one of the few bars I have found that do not have lots of white sugar or other rubbish added to them. Now some of you may say that they are packed with dates and raisins and therefore sugar but this is fruit sugar and not white sugar. For me that is more than good enough. It all depends on how strict you are I suppose. At the end of the day I do not stuff my face with these but enjoy them now and again.
I always try and keep a bar in my bag, if not another back up snack, in case the hunger strikes when you are on the go. The key is definitely to always be prepared for this, it could save you having to compromise on your healthy food intake and keep you away from making hungry panic decisions.
In the pictures you can see my three favourite bars. Cashew Cookie and Gingerbread are quite nice as well. I only stick to the Nakd Bars and avoid the other ranges such as Crunch as they have lots of other ingredients in them as well that I am not a huge fan of.
I am really excited to try their newest addition Coconut Bliss. From the ingredients it sounds amazing and I cannot wait to try it! Have any of you had the chance to yet? I am truly hoping that it is a hit! I will write a little review once I have tried them here on the blog. You can find some Nakd Bars at Waitrose in their gluten free section but I mainly buy mine at Holland & Barrett where they carry a very extensive range.
