My morning porridge, will never get tired of eating this deliciousness.

My lunch: courgette, carrot, red onion, red pepper and kale sauteed in coconut oil. Topped with tomatoes, butternut squash/pumpkin seeds (calabaza seeds, bought in Spain, unsure exactly of which veg it is, but they are delicious) and walnuts. Served with hummus and avocado. A very fresh and very quick lunch.

Finally the photos uploaded! This has taken absolutely forever but finally I succeeded. I do not know what was wrong with WordPress but it seems to be working now.

Anyway, leg day today! I am really enjoying and making the most of the gym right now as it is pretty much dead in the mornings. In a couple of weeks it will be mobbed once again. Dreading it but am really excited for the new extension of the gym to open later this year. More space, it will be amazing. I am also hoping for new equipment. Would love for us to get some kettlebells.

It was a good gym session and I really worked up a sweat. Hopefully my legs and bum will be sore tomorrow!

I went home and celebrated with a lovely bowl of, yes you guessed it, porridge! I am very unpredictable and mysterious, I know…

This afternoon Jamie and I have been grocery shopping and I’ve kept him company while he’s been fixing some final stuff for his cocktail competition in London tomorrow. I’m so exited for him and a bit jealous that he gets to go to one of my favourite cities in the world. Love that place. I am crossing my fingers and toes for him. I know he’ll be amazing and am so ridiculously proud of him! I’ll be nervous waiting to hear the results when I’m at work.

We have just prepared one of Madeleine Shaw’s recipes, a beef and apricot stew, it will be cooking for the next two hours. It is smelling gooood in the flat, to say the least. Cannot wait to try it! We so seldom eat red meat in this house. I just don’t really have a craving for it, except the occasional burger craving 😛 Jamie on the other hand, like his meat so a nice treat and good fuel for his competition tomorrow 😉

We’re not up to much this evening, I’m doing laundry and Jamie is packing and getting mentally prepared for tomorrow. A nice chilled evening 🙂

Madeleine Moves is a blog celebrating a love of exercise, food, travelling and life. I love being active, exercising and being out and about. With my blog I hope to spread this joy and inspire you to be your best. Who am I? I’m Madeleine (surprise). I’m a Swede who lives in the vibrant city of Glasgow in Scotland. I moved here for my university studies and in summer 2016 I graduated with a degree in Business and Management at University of Glasgow. My keyword has always been balance. I love eating healthy food but I also love to indulge once in a while. You need to enjoy life at the end of the day and limiting yourself is not the way to go. With this I would like to say welcome to Madeleine Moves. Love, Madeleine
