Snack Review: Nakd Fruit & Nut Nibbles, Salted Caramel

Another review, this time of the another of the new Nakd Nibbles range. I was really excited to try this flavour as I absolutely love slated caramel. One of my favourite Millie’s Cookies is salted caramel, however unfortunately not so great to eat all the time. It is safe to say that my expectations for this snack were high.

I have to start and say that I much prefer Nakd’s snacks in this format compared to the bars. It feels like they last slightly longer (obviously a plus) and I really like the size of the pieces. The texture is amazing as well. The bars can sometimes feel a bit dry I think but here the texture is spot on, nice and soft.

So what about the flavour? I was disappointed. I didn’t quite taste the salted caramel flavour, it was just overwhelmingly sweet. There was a hint of it but not enough. I thought it pretty much tasted like the coconut version without the coconut more or less. I truly wish I would have enjoyed it but I don’t think I would buy it again.

I’ll stick to their bars for now.

My next project will be to make my own. Hopefully soon!
