Birthday dinner

I had such an amazing time with my friends yesterday. We went to Thairiffic on Sauchiehall Street, I’ve never been there before so it was fun trying something new . The food was really good, not quite as good as Kitsch Inn at Tiki Bar but still pretty tasty. Emma and I couldn’t make up our minds on what to have so we ended up sharing some spring rolls a red Thai curry and a Pad Thai. Sometimes you need to eat for the soul and we definitely did 😛

We all felt like stuffed turkeys afterwards. When we thought the eating was over there was cake. I only had the smallest sliver because I could not force myself to eat another bite!

Afterwards we headed to Emma’s and Kamila’s place. Everyone was drinking and having a great time. I was happily sipping away on my water. I met some really nice and interesting people during the evening. I love meeting new people. Around one they all decided to go to a club and continuing celebrating Kamila. I decided to head home as I was quite tired. My friend Stewart gave me a ride home in his car as he was driving anyway. Very thoughtful of him 🙂

By the time I got home Jamie was home as well which was the cherry on top of the entire evening. Going to sleep with him is the best thing in the entire world. It happens so seldom these days since he’s working evenings.

Today I’m meeting up with Kajsa for brunch so I will be going to the gym in the afternoon (never happens really 😛 ). Not my ideal time but sometimes you have to change your routines a bit. I might be going to IKEA with Emma, Kamila and Dalia later in the afternoon but it all depends on when they are thinking of going.

I’ll speak to you later. Have a great day! 🙂

Madeleine Moves is a blog celebrating a love of exercise, food, travelling and life. I love being active, exercising and being out and about. With my blog I hope to spread this joy and inspire you to be your best. Who am I? I’m Madeleine (surprise). I’m a Swede who lives in the vibrant city of Glasgow in Scotland. I moved here for my university studies and in summer 2016 I graduated with a degree in Business and Management at University of Glasgow. My keyword has always been balance. I love eating healthy food but I also love to indulge once in a while. You need to enjoy life at the end of the day and limiting yourself is not the way to go. With this I would like to say welcome to Madeleine Moves. Love, Madeleine
