Sorry about the lack of updates. I managed to get a terrible cold when we were in Nice from the aircon and have been feeling really horrible. I was looking forward to heading straight back to the gym but instead I’ve been letting my body rest and trying to boost it with loads of vitamins from fruit and veg. I am feeling slightly better today (touch wood). So I’m hoping to be able to start exercising again by the end of the week if not earlier 😀 We’ll see how I feel.

On one of our days in France we went to visit Monaco. I’ve been there quite a few times by now since it’s so close to Nice. It’s a cool place but would be even better if you weren’t on a student budget I would think, haha.

Monaco is always boiling in the summer and our visit was no exception. Jamie was extremely happy to walk along the F1 track and we even discovered some places I’d never visited before. Such as a Japanese Garden. A bit random and it made me feel like I was back in Asia, which made me very happy. I really miss it.

We of course walked passed the casino and Hotel de Paris before we went on a hunt for a lunch spot. I’ll post more photos from our Monaco trip soon!

Now it’s bedtime for me in a bit, I’m exhausted. Good night my dears x

Madeleine Moves is a blog celebrating a love of exercise, food, travelling and life. I love being active, exercising and being out and about. With my blog I hope to spread this joy and inspire you to be your best. Who am I? I’m Madeleine (surprise). I’m a Swede who lives in the vibrant city of Glasgow in Scotland. I moved here for my university studies and in summer 2016 I graduated with a degree in Business and Management at University of Glasgow. My keyword has always been balance. I love eating healthy food but I also love to indulge once in a while. You need to enjoy life at the end of the day and limiting yourself is not the way to go. With this I would like to say welcome to Madeleine Moves. Love, Madeleine
