When you are in Nice, you need to go up to the viewpoint. Watching the sunset on one of our evenings there is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. We left the flat a bit late so we were quite sweaty after running up all the stairs… Hence the glowy look in all the photos of us 😛
It was incredibly peaceful watching the sky turn into endless shades of pink and eventually red until it eventually disappeared.
A tip is to check the opening times of it before you go up because Jamie, I and loads of other people there managed to get locked in. Yes they quietly locked the door while we were still in and we had to walk around the park in the dark in the search of a different exit. We eventually found one that led straight into the old town, which was convenient for us as we were going there for dinner. It made the evening a little more interesting to say the least!
Right now my little sister and her boyfriend are staying at ours. They have just moved to Glasgow for university and tomorrow they are moving into their halls. I’m so excited to have them here and so excited for what they have to look forward to. Freshers year is so much fun! You will never experience anything like it again and thinking about all the amazing memories I have from it makes me so happy to think that they will soon be making these amazing memories as well.
We went to the gym this morning the three of us, Jamie had a nice relaxed time at home instead. I can’t explain how great it was to be back! After an hour had past my body just wanted more, but I wanted to take it easy since it was my first time properly exercising for over two weeks. It was great having company as well. I’m already looking forward to my next gym session, which will probably be on Sunday. Tomorrow we’ll very busy moving Ellie and her boyfriend into halls and then we need to go IKEA and get them all kitted out with the essentials.
Talk to you all soon 🙂
