I while ago I decided to try something new. I’m starting to get a bit tired of my Nakd bars and wanted to try something different snack-wise. I am going to start making my own soon but until then I’m working my way through the bar isle at Holland & Barrett hehe.
Checking labels when you are buying these bars is so important. It’s really important before you buy anything really, to ensure you know are aware of what you’re putting into your body. It’s your responsibility! You’ll be surprised a lot of the time what’s actually in the food you buy everyday. It’s incredibly easy to forget to do this and you end up buying a load of crap to be frank if you’re not careful.
This usually narrows down your options, but it means that you at least are getting the best even though it’s not homemade, which you should be aiming for the majority of the time š
Anyway, enough about labels and all that boring stuff and on to the interesting bit, how was the bar? It was delicious. I can sometimes find Nakd bars overly sweet and this bar was incredible. It was not overpoweringly sweet and the consistency with the coconut and macadamia nut was beautiful. It’s a bit more pricey but also bigger. That’s on the other had what I prefer about Nakd bars, they’re my ideal sized bar. Anything bigger I find a bit too much but who cares when it’s this good? It disappeared in minutes.
I wouldn’t eat bars like this all the time but sometimes when I’m in a dip during the afternoon they are my back up if I don’t have a banana or any other snack on me. They don’t go off as quickly as other snacks I like and don’t need to be chilled so you always have a back up in your bag if you need it. I get grumpy when I’m hungry and this is how I keep myself on track š
Buy it and enjoy my lovelies xx
