Yoga and porridge morning

Good morning my dears!

This morning I woke up and decided I would start off my day with some yoga. I only practiced for 20 minutes and I feel so energised and awake afterwards. So it’s not that time consuming and it has an incredible impact on your mood. I’ll have to start more days like this!

Of course porridge was due for breakfast. Today I had porridge cooked with chia seeds and flaxseeds topped off with bananas fried in some coconut oil sprinkled with cinnamon. As a finishing touch, a little bit almond butter, come cashews, walnuts and coconut shavings. I’ve been trying a new dairy-free milk lately from the Swedish brand Oatly (wohoo, Sweden!), it’s organic oat milk and with porridge it is heavenly. For students it’s a great option as it a lot cheaper than organic almond milk. I refuse to buy Alpro now as there are too many things on the label that I have no idea what it is plus there is barely any almonds in their product.

Today will be a busy day at uni with four hours of lectures in a row. I’ve packed my lunch and have prepared a snack to take with me. Being prepared during long days of lectures is a must for me, I can’t focus if I’m hungry.

Later on today I think Kajsa is popping by for a study session. It’s pretty much the only way you can see your friends in final year without having anxiety about you not studying 😉 Okay, it’s not that bad yet but the reading is piling up.
