Lunch at Martha’s

I’m back! I handed in my essay yesterday and right now I can relax a bit. I still have my dissertation to work on. Feels nice to be able to breathe a little bit 😛 After I my essay in yesterday Jamie and I went into town to buy a Christmas tree. We were both starving so we popped by Martha’s as I was craving their beautifully delicious falafel. It’s baked and not fried so it’s delicious and good for you a win, win situation! Jamie opted for their special, which was a Greek inspired stew with pork, he was very happy with his choice. Great place for us I love their vegetarian and vegan options but they still offer meat options for Jamie. He likes vegan and vegetarian food but is more of a meat lover than I am 🙂

We managed eventually to find a small Christmas Tree, a real one and it’s perfect! It smells amazing! It’s our first Christmas tree in our own home together and it felt like such a special moment. Now it’s all decorated and looking amazing in our living room. It felt like the flat finally got a bit of Christmas spirit, which I love!

Hope all of you had an amazing Friday and I will speak to you again very soon xx

Madeleine Moves is a blog celebrating a love of exercise, food, travelling and life. I love being active, exercising and being out and about. With my blog I hope to spread this joy and inspire you to be your best. Who am I? I’m Madeleine (surprise). I’m a Swede who lives in the vibrant city of Glasgow in Scotland. I moved here for my university studies and in summer 2016 I graduated with a degree in Business and Management at University of Glasgow. My keyword has always been balance. I love eating healthy food but I also love to indulge once in a while. You need to enjoy life at the end of the day and limiting yourself is not the way to go. With this I would like to say welcome to Madeleine Moves. Love, Madeleine
