Photo borrowed from the Lululemon Glasgow Facebook page. We were four of us wearing the same leggings to bootcamp haha. I’ll write a post about them as they have changed my life!

Hello lovelies,

Monday and a new start of a new week. I had a lovely weekend with a lovely weekend. Jamie was away with his friends in Dublin so I had a lot of time to myself and to spend with friends. I started off with a yoga class on Saturday morning and bootcamp on Sunday morning. Other than that I spent some time with Kajsa on Friday evening and on Saturday I went to the cinema with Emma and watched The Danish Girl. Great film with a very gripping storyline. Definitely worth a watch, Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander were incredible in it.

I also helped out with Glasgow University Charity Fashion Show practice, I’m a model mentor this year and help out with catwalk practice and helping to organise the model aspects of the show. A fun role and I can’t explain how important this year’s cause is, all proceeds go to Teenage Cancer Trust. Cancer is something my family has been affected by and I feel great being able to somehow contribute to helping people who are also affected by this disease. Don’t worry, I did a bit of studying as well.

On Sunday Jamie came back very tired and quite hungover after a couple of intense days so I suggested got us to go to Bread Meats Bread for some burgers for dinner. I think I got some bonus girlfriend points for that 😛 The burgers are great and I love their sweet potato chips as well as salad (I don’t know what’s in their salad dressing but I’m obsessed). Since I am pretty much vegetarian at home and never really eat red meat it got a bit too much for in the end and I couldn’t finish my burger (couldn’t they have half-sized burgers?). It’s nice once in a while but not something I would eat very often. Jamie enjoyed every second of it though and that made me so happy 🙂

He really is amazing when it comes to how I’ve changed my diet. I know he enjoys vegetarian and vegan food but he enjoys met a lot than I do so sometimes it’s a bit difficult when we want to eat together. I think we’ve found a good balance though but I appreciate his willingness to try new things. It’s really important that your other half is supportive of whatever you do in life and I know that my man is my number one supporter in whatever I do. I am definitely his!

Madeleine Moves is a blog celebrating a love of exercise, food, travelling and life. I love being active, exercising and being out and about. With my blog I hope to spread this joy and inspire you to be your best. Who am I? I’m Madeleine (surprise). I’m a Swede who lives in the vibrant city of Glasgow in Scotland. I moved here for my university studies and in summer 2016 I graduated with a degree in Business and Management at University of Glasgow. My keyword has always been balance. I love eating healthy food but I also love to indulge once in a while. You need to enjoy life at the end of the day and limiting yourself is not the way to go. With this I would like to say welcome to Madeleine Moves. Love, Madeleine
