Hi everyone!

Hope you’ve had a beautiful day! I’ve been in at the office today working away with our clients. It was nice to see the colleagues but my my stomach was feeling quite upset the entire morning. I don’t know what was going on but I was almost considering going home. I really didn’t want to so I persevered and I felt a lot better after my lunch break! Lucky because I had a workout date with my friend Faye planned in the evening and I really didn’t want to miss it.

After work, I grabbed a juice in the sun. I was desperately looking for a spot outside where I could sit, have a cold drink and catch some sun rays. I had never been into Bagel Mania before on Sauchiehall Street but saw a free spot outside and decided to check out their menu. I was so happily surprised to see they made freshly squeezed juices, exactly what I wanted. I had their Detox juice which had carrot, ginger and apple in. The juice menu is small but great if you are craving something fresh on your walk to and from the city centre.

All day I have been so excited and nervous as I finally was going to go to Gym G5, Stella is an amazing trainer and she owns the gym with her boyfriend PK if I’ve understood it correctly. I’ve gone to all of her bootcamps at lululemon pretty much before I started working there and have been wanting to try out her classes Fitter Leaner Stronger for sooo long. It’s weird that that feeling never goes away, the feeling of being nervous when being new at a gym or a class. The fear of not knowing what you’re doing and everyone else does. I’ve been working out for over 3 years now and whenever I try something new I’m still nervous. I would never let it stop me though!

Faye goes to Stella’s classes religiously and she was so nice to pair up with me and showed me how everything worked. Stella was away on holiday so her boyfriend PK was the instructor of the class, both Faye and him were great support during training session. It was such a killer and my arms are so tired I’m struggling to write this post at the moment (bodes well for tomorrow haha). We did loads of burpees, thrusts, deadlifts and lots of other cool things. Afterwards we were all so tired and sweaty. I felt so amazing!

I have to tell you guys, I’ve been in a bit of a rut with my training at the gym and have been lacking motivation. After a while you just run out of inspiration when you train alone I feel. Today I finally felt it come back! I’ve found a new challenge and I have so much technique to work on. It feels so good and I can’t wait to go back and get better! Faye and I are planning on going on Friday again. So excited and slightly nervous again for what workout they’ll throw us.

Now it’s finally time for a shower and bed!

Good night my lovelies xxx
