Lately I’ve been testing out some new things that I thought I’d share!
First up is the Hazelnut and Cocoa Raw Paleo Bar from The Primal Pantry. I was craving something sweet and chocolatey after dinner one night and found this when Jamie and I were in Waitrose. I am a fan of some of their other bars so was really excited to give this a go. I thought it was incredibly delicious and tasted a bit like a raw brownie. A perfect sweet treat.
The Super Green smoothie from Savse is another thing i’ve tried and loved. I’ve never really been a smoothie person but recently I’ve started to get cravings for them strangely enough. This smoothie is really tasty and not very sweet, which I love. It tasted nice and fresh and I really liked that it was boosted with so many different kinds of greens.
Finally the Coconut Almond Butter from Pip & Nut was tried after dinner today. As you might remember, I tried their cashew butter a while ago and I wasn’t a fan at all. It was far too sweet and it has since been gathering dust in the cupboard. I was a little bit hesitant to try one of their others as it’s such a waste of a jar if I don’t like it. That’s why I thought these little packets are amazing if you want to try a flavour without having to invest in an entire jar. I’m absolutely obsessed with almond butter and felt like I had to try it when I saw it! This one was definitely a hit! I loved the combination of sweet and saltiness in the butter and would definitely consider buying a jar of it. However, I love plain almond butter with porridge or with banana on some bread, therefore I’m not sure if I really need an entire jar. These little packets are great to keep in your bag though if you are in need of a snack so I might buy it to have in my bag in case of a hunger emergency.
