When I arrived in Stockholm I straight away met up with my wonderful friend Sanna for a catch up and lunch. We were originally going to go to Babel Deli but when we got there they were closed for the summer. I’ve been wanting to go there for quite a while so it was slightly disappointing as they hadn’t posted anything about it on their Facebook or website.
We weren’t sure of where to go but randomly ended up in Urban Deli and their salad bar. The lady working there was so kind and helpful. Sanna and I both ended up choosing the veggie option with feta, pea purée, olives and lots of other delicious things.
Once we’d both received our salads, the lady recommended us to take the lift to the top floor and sit on the roof terrace. It was such a nice surprise and the view from up there was amazing! It was very quiet there considering it’s bang in the middle of the city centre. The roof terrace has comfy chairs to enjoy the sun in and around the corner from where we sat there is a bar which sells drinks and some food.
Our salads were delicious and very filling, which I really liked (I’m one hungry soul)! I would definitely say that Urban Deli is worth a visit and the roof terrace is such a great place to enjoy a sunny summer’s day.
