Hi everyone!

It’s Monday and I’ve enjoyed a day off from work today! It’s been a day of getting organised and doing a bit of cleaning. All the stuff you don’t have time for when you’re working all day. I somehow thought I would have more time to do these things when I wasn’t a student anymore, I was wrong, I feel busier than ever! I’m loving every second of it but it does take a bit of planning to make it work. At least I got a break from it when I met up with my friend Fie and her boyfriend Mark this afternoon  which was really nice.

This evening I did something really fun too! I don’t know if you guys remember but about a year ago I won a free PT session with Andy from AG Fitness. He told me back then that he was opening his own gym and I’ve been following his journey on social media since. I was super excited when I saw his dream become reality this year when AG Fitness finally got it’s own home.

A couple of weeks ago Andy so generously invited me to come and try out one of their classes for free. I can never say no to a workout so of course I jumped at the chance to try out his new gym. I decided to go to the Strongman/Strongwoman class after Andy’s recommendation.

The gym is conveniently located about a 10 minute walk from where I live, not far from St George’s Cross underground. I felt slightly lost when I arrived at the industrial estate but fund the gym quite quickly after double checking the address.

The gym looks amazing! It was really nice, fresh and bright! The trainer running the class, Juan, was sitting at the reception desk when I arrived and made me feel welcome straight away.

The workout was pretty intense but so good. We lifted a lot of weights and moved to different stations. It was a great mix of people doing the class and everyone were so friendly and upbeat. The workout was sweaty to say the least! Juan made my day by saying that I had great lifting technique at the end of the session! I’ve been working so hard on it lately and my upper body strength so when he said that I had great technique I just wanted to hug him almost! Hard work pays off!

It was such a fun session and I left with a huge smile on my tomato face! I can’t wait to get back!
