I can’t believe it’s only two sleeps until Jamie and are on our way to the sun. It feels slightly unreal. With the more or less constant downpours of rain the past couple of days I think we’re in serious need of a vitamin d boost! It’s safe to say, I’m not made for this weather. It really makes me miss Swedish summers, I can’t remember them being this bad (maybe that’s just me). Don’t get me wrong, I love Glasgow but this weather is just miserable and doesn’t do this wonderful city justice at all.
Anyway, enough talk about the weather. Yesterday was my last day in the showroom before my holiday. I managed to get a mat for the yoga class in the morning, which was amazing. It was one of our ambassadors Mark teaching so I had no expectations of getting a mat because his classes are always extremely popular. The rest of the day I spent finishing off as much work as possible for Sweaty Sundays before I leave. I found it difficult handing over my baby when I finished the day. I really love organising our Sunday workouts! Going on this holiday is the first time in my life I’ve found it a bit difficult to go, don’t get me wrong, I’m so excited for Spain but I really love my job and love doing my tasks so it has felt weird handing my work over to the girls while I’m away. I feel so lucky to feel that way about my job. I wouldn’t mind continuing with my emails and organising while I’m gone but I know my managers would not approve hehe. I know once I’m in Spain I’ll get into holiday mode straight away and be happy I don’t have to worry about work when I’m gone.
Today I’m away on an adventure. I’ve been asked to cover a shift in the Edinburgh store so that’s where I’ll be spending my Sunday. I’m excited and a bit nervous as the store is very different from our little showroom here in Glasgow. I can’t wait to see all the exciting products they’ll have and to experience working in a lululemon store. I have a feeling I’ll be slightly tempted to do a bit of shopping while I’m there, we’ll see what I find. So if you’re in Edinburgh today, pop in and say hi!
It will also be nice to be in Edinburgh for the day for the Fringe. I’m not going to get a chance to go this year so at least I’ll feel the atmosphere for a bit when I walk to and from the store.
