Wow! So many new faces on my blog today and I’m so happy that you’ve managed to find me. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and I hope you stay.

Jamie and I have arrived safely in Barcelona. It has been love at first sight. The last time I was here I was a lot younger so I don’t think it really counts. This city is absolutely beautiful and I love how busy it is.

We arrived this evening and have just been out for a delicious meal. I even had my first glass of wine since my birthday. I’m really not a big drinker at all but once in a while I do like a glass. My stomach is not loving me at the moment though. As soon as I eat something that is slightly different from my usual diet, later than I usually do or if my stomach is just in bad mood (it feels like it has mood swings at times) I get the worst stomach pains in the world. It’s gotten worse lately so I think I’m going to see a doctor about it when I get back to Glasgow.
Anyway, this city is amazing and I can’t wait to explore it further with Jamie tomorrow. Our hotel is lovely, just when you walk in they have have a huge bakery counter where people were queuing when we arrived to buy some of their creations. Such a cool idea. It smells incredible too! We’ll see if we eat breakfast here at the hotel tomorrow or venture out. I need a proper breakfast and pastries and bread just don’t cut it for me. I need something filling to keep me going otherwise I get hungry again after an hour. Are you guys the same?

Sorry about the rubbish iPhone photos by the way. I left my laptop at home for this holiday because it’s so short and thought blogging from my phone would do.
Sleep well everyone and speak to you tomorrow!

Madeleine Moves is a blog celebrating a love of exercise, food, travelling and life. I love being active, exercising and being out and about. With my blog I hope to spread this joy and inspire you to be your best. Who am I? I’m Madeleine (surprise). I’m a Swede who lives in the vibrant city of Glasgow in Scotland. I moved here for my university studies and in summer 2016 I graduated with a degree in Business and Management at University of Glasgow. My keyword has always been balance. I love eating healthy food but I also love to indulge once in a while. You need to enjoy life at the end of the day and limiting yourself is not the way to go. With this I would like to say welcome to Madeleine Moves. Love, Madeleine
