Hi my lovelies!

I hope your week is going well so far. I had an amazing day with Jamie yesterday just having a nice relaxed time. I started off with a PT session with Stella in the morning. We’re still working on my upper body strength. It’s great to have my sessions with her again and I already feel a difference in my strength since my last hour with her a couple of weeks ago. However I’m slightly sore today from all those snatches! I love the soreness though, it means you’ve trained hard and done something that will make you stronger.

For lunch Jamie and I headed to the south side and Café Strange Brew, we were there a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved it. The girls in there are so lovely and the food is just incredible. I thought I was going to be adventurous and try something different but in the end all I really wanted was their vegan brunch dish. I can’t remember the name of it at the moment but oh my, it’s good. We also couldn’t resist having a slice of raw vegan apple crumble from Blitz for dessert, yum!

We continued our foodie trip down to Whole Foods and we spent ages in there just browsing about. I love how Jamie and I have such different interests, him cocktails and me with healthy food. However, we still manage to find things that excite us in places like Whole Foods, even if it is for different reasons. I sometimes just laugh at us and our enthusiasm for food but I love that we share it. We left with a lot of fun stuff and I can’t wait to review some of the things I got a hold of there. For instance we found raw coconut vinegar! We couldn’t resist buying it to see what it would be like. Apparently a great source of vitamin B as well as many other benefits. I’ll let you know what the verdict is!

The day was finished off with my vegan lentil fajitas in front of The Great Gatsby (I was so tired I fell asleep several times) and a mini cheeseboard. I’m just perfecting the recipe for my fajitas but I’ll share it here once I’ve got the measurements down.
