Girl time

Hi lovelies!

I just got back from a lovely evening with Kajsa at her flat. We made our typical Maddie and Kajsa movie night dish which is roasted vegetables in the oven with hummus and sometimes a bit of cheese. Tonight Kajsa had some feta we had with the meal as well as hummus (you always need hummus). I’m usually good and make my own hummus but tonight Tesco’s had to do. It’s a really nice and healthy meal plus it takes no time to throw together. I could live of roasted veg, it’s so delicious and fresh. I love nourishing my body with lots of veg during the autumn and winter, it definitely needs some extra love during the colder parts of the year.

Kajsa is a bit nail obsessed so she was nice enough to paint my nails too once we’d finished our food. I love freshly painted nails, it makes me feel really good and put together. I know it might sound a bit weird but it’s true. I’m sure I’m not the only one! Or am I?

Other than that, work was good today. I was lucky enough to get a mat this morning at work during Saturday morning yoga. The class was absolutely amazing and Pamela who led it was great. There was a lot of deep stretching going on, which was trialling at times. A lot of concentration and determination was needed but I felt great afterwards. When I finished work at five and I got to have a quick cup of tea with Jamie in town before he headed to work and I went to Kajsa’s. It’s nice when we manage to fit in these mini meet ups during our busy weekends.

Tomorrow I’m going to the gym in the morning and then Jamie and I are meeting up with his brother Luke and his girlfriend for brunch before I start work at one. Such a great start to the day. I should probably get to sleep soon so I’ll be able to get up tomorrow.

Good night! xxx
