The day it snowed in Glasgow

Photo from slightly warmer weather, wouldn’t say no to being here right now

I couldn’t believe my ears this morning when Jamie said it was snowing outside. Snowing in Glasgow? It never snows in Glasgow but I opened the curtains and there it was peacefully falling down. Where was this snow during Christmas? Of course It didn’t stay but it was nice while it lasted.

Marla was here today and we met up with Jamie in the park after his meeting at work for a walk. It was so great to be outside but it was absolutely freezing, my fingers went numb for a bit!

In the afternoon Ellie came to see us for some tea and to meet Marla. Marla worked her charm on her like she does with everyone and of course Ellie fell in love with her just like the rest of us.

I feel loads better today so I can’t wait to get back to the gym tomorrow, a class at Gym G5 has been booked in for the evening and I’m so excited. I was so tempted to go to the gym this evening but I’ve told myself I was going to rest today too so that’s what I’m doing.

Today’s a week until Jamie and I go to Sweden. I can’t wait to see my friends and family and spend some quality time with all of them. Jamie hasn’t been with me in Sweden for over one and a half years so I’m so happy for him to come with me. He’s never experienced Swedish winter before, only the beautiful sunny summers. Winter is quite the contrast, it can get cold to say the least! I’m staying for a bit longer than he is, I haven’t stayed for more than a week for ages and I’m really looking forward to it.

Time to get some stuff done before I fall asleep. I know it’s just after seven but I’m exhausted today.

Speak to you tomorrow xx

I moved here for my university studies and in summer 2016 I graduated with a degree in Business and Management at University of Glasgow. My keyword has always been balance. I love eating healthy food but I also love to indulge once in a while. You need to enjoy life at the end of the day and limiting yourself is not the way to go. With this I would like to say welcome to Madeleine Moves. Love, Madeleine
