A snack favourite

Hi lovelies!

And so the weekend was nearly over. To be honest my weekends and weekdays aren’t too different these days. On Friday morning I was at G5 for a class and in the evening Jamie and I went to the opening of Kained Holdings (the company he works for) soft opening for their latest restaurant, The Duchess of Argyle. It was good fun and I’ll write a bit more about it in another post.

Yesterday I met up with Emma and Marija for lunch and had my sister Ellie over for dinner and to watch the first round of Swedish Eurovision, Melodifestivalen. It’s huge back home. We take choosing our Eurovision song very seriously. My former Hollister colleagues, De Vet Du, were competing and it was a bit strange seeing them on TV. I’m so happy it’s going well for them!

Today I had my uni friend Fie over for lunch, I haven’t seen her for ages so it was nice to hear what she’s been up to.

To be honest I’m just trying to stay busy to keep my mind of things. I’m not feeling great at the moment and I’m starting to struggle to come up with things to do. I just really want to work and be busy again. I miss working so much and I know I have so much to give. I just have to find the right place. I know it’s out there. I’m trying to stay as positive as I can but you know, sometimes you can’t help it. you feel a bit down. I know it’ll turn around soon, just keep swimming.

Anyway, enough of the job chat! I wanted to share one of my favourite snacks with you from Inspiral. I first tried them when I was working at Juice Garden and they have been a favourite since. Great for when you are in the mood for a savoury treat. I was a huge cheese and onion crisp fan back in the day and these remind me slightly of that flavour.

If you’ve never tried kale crisps before, they are a bit leafy and some may not like the texture and they do taste a bit “green”. I’ve tried other kale crisps that I haven’t been a fan of but I think Inspiral definitely got it right with these delicious things, I love them. A pack like this wouldn’t fill me up as a more foodie snack, I would need to eat something else too but if you are looking for something to munch on at the cinema or just for something tasty these are great.
