Om Yoga Show

Hi babes! I’ve made quite a frequent visitor at the SECC recently. So much going on and so many shows coming to Glasgow. The lovely people behind the Om Yoga Show who got in touch about the competition I had on my Instagram so kindly gave me two tickets to go myself. Thank you Om Yoga Show for inviting me.

All of my friends were unfortunately busy and I was at first a little bit hesitant to go because I wasn’t sure about going on my own but then I realised I was being absolutely ridiculous. I can’t miss out on an opportunity like this just because my friends were busy. Silly me so away I was and I’m so happy I went, there were loads of people I knew and it was so great catching up with them. My girls from lululemon have a stall there so I spent a lot of time there chatting to them. It was also nice to do whatever I wanted and take my time to do and look at things I wanted to.

First thing I did when I got there was to go queue for Laura McCrimmon’s class. They have free half hour classes on all day and Laura doesn’t very often teach here in Glasgow so I was thrilled I managed to get a spot. The class was lovely but it was a bit weird doing yoga with people watching, taking photos and it being quite noisy but eventually you managed to zone out and just focus on the practice. Never done anything like it before.

Of course I had to go and have a taste of Almighty Foods incredible stuff whilst I was there. They make raw vegan chocolate as well as indulgent nut butters. Everything they create in their factory outside Dundee is just heavenly. I’ve been a fan for a while but they’ve brought out some new flavours I haven’t had a chance to try yet which I was excited to try. The guys in the stall were so lovely and I ended up standing there chatting with them for ages about the business and it was amazing to hear how well it’s going for them. The business basically started with a couple who started making chocolate in their home and it has grown from there. It was very inspiring to her about their journey.

So all in all I’m so happy I decided to walk down to the Om Yoga Show today. I left with a huge smile on my face after seeing so many lovely people.
