Busy day

Hi lovelies! You know it’s been a busy day when the only photo you’ve managed to take is of your porridge from this morning. I’ve been a bad blogger and completely forgotten to take any photos today so unfortunately I don’t have much to share with you.

This morning I went to the gym to practice my snatches. It’s one of the most frustrating moves to try and learn (for me anyway 😛 ) and I have to admit that I’m not the best at training them either. I’d rather do other things such as deadlifts and box jumps but I’ll never improve if I don’t try so it’s time to make a change on that front. It felt a bit better after a while but still got a bit to go until I feel fully confident doing them.

Once I was back in the flat I of course had my porridge. I then got ready to meet up with Emma. We’ve just been hanging about in the West End and met up with Kamila for a while. After waving goodbye to Kamila we bumped into a uni friend who’s up from London so we might be meeting up with him later on tonight.

A great day with lots of friend time. It’s the best time and that’s probably why I forgot to take photos. Sometimes I get really carried away when I spend time with my loved ones that I forget to take photos. It’s definitely not a bad thing that I forget in the sense that I’m present in the moment but at the same time I wish I could capture these moments too.

I’ve just had an early dinner and am waiting to hear whether there’s a plan for this evening. We shall see. Tomorrow I’m going to an event with the amazing Cyclebox and lululemon in the morning. It’ll be a rooftop HIIT session at 29 Club. I can’t wait for it. I’ve heard there’ll be some boxing rounds in the workout, I absolutely love boxing! Bring it on xx

With my blog I hope to spread this joy and inspire you to be your best. Who am I? I’m Madeleine (surprise). I’m a Swede who lives in the vibrant city of Glasgow in Scotland. I moved here for my university studies and in summer 2016 I graduated with a degree in Business and Management at University of Glasgow. My keyword has always been balance. I love eating healthy food but I also love to indulge once in a while. You need to enjoy life at the end of the day and limiting yourself is not the way to go. With this I would like to say welcome to Madeleine Moves. Love, Madeleine
