Morning walk

Hi lovelies! I started the day a bit differently today and went for a morning walk down to the river to get some stuff done for something I’m working on for the new platform health and fitness platform Voomfit. It’s launching very soon so keep an eye out for that! It felt so good being out early in the morning and I ended being out for almost two hours. On days I’m not training in the mornings I would love to go on more walks but I get a bit lazy and don’t really do it. It’s he same with yoga at home. I do it and it feels great, think that I’ll start doing it more and then I don’t. I should really just do it. I’m working on it! In my defence, I would feel more tempted to go for walks if the weather was nicer and warmer!

On the way back I picked up groceries for lunch, Kajsa took some time out of her exam studies for me to feed her. I remember it being so nice to have a little break and see a friend during those tough periods and what better way than to have lunch together? Saves her having to worry about food in the middle of all that stress. I love seeing her and talking about anything and everything. I feel so lucky to have her in my life and that both of us ended up here in Glasgow for university. We’ve known each other for so long now, like 6/7 years!

After Kajsa headed to the library I went to Artisan Roast for a meeting with my friend Ross (also known as The Motivational Dude, check out his website here) to discuss blogging. He wants to up his blogging game and just needed some help. I love helping anyone I can and was so happy that my experience can be of use to someone else.

Now it’s time for me to soon get ready to go down to G5 for this evening’s class. I haven’t slept very well for the past couple of days so I’m feeling a bit tired and not too excited to have to leave the flat but I know once I’m there I’ll be so happy I made it. I’ve been wearing gym gear all day so I can’t bail now 😛

Have a great evening my dears. Speak soon xxx

Madeleine Moves is a blog celebrating a love of exercise, food, travelling and life. I love being active, exercising and being out and about. With my blog I hope to spread this joy and inspire you to be your best. Who am I? I’m Madeleine (surprise). I’m a Swede who lives in the vibrant city of Glasgow in Scotland. I moved here for my university studies and in summer 2016 I graduated with a degree in Business and Management at University of Glasgow. My keyword has always been balance. I love eating healthy food but I also love to indulge once in a while. You need to enjoy life at the end of the day and limiting yourself is not the way to go. With this I would like to say welcome to Madeleine Moves. Love, Madeleine
