Hi lovelies! Sooo… you remember those training goals I posted about last week? If you’ve already forgotten about them and want a little refresher click here. I decided to chase my goals and the perfect opportunity actually occurred last week but I’ve been a bit scared to share it hehe
I’ve signed up for a Crossfit Competition! Yup it’s happening. It’s Forth Valley Throwdown and it’s a partner competition so I’m competing with a girl called Lindsey from G5. She’s awesome and I’m really happy we’ve been paired up for this. After a lot of thinking we’ve given ourselves the team name Cirque du Sore Legs.
So now my name is on the board in the gym together with the rest of the amazing participants. I never thought I would sign up for something like this but here I am. I’m excited to see how it goes and how we do.
The next stage after signing up is to complete three qualifying WODs in the gym which will be launched one at a time and we have a deadline for each to complete the WOD by. The first one has already been released so tomorrow evening Lindsey and I are practicing it and on Sunday Stella will be judging us. We’ll then send in our score and when we’ve completed all WODs we’ll find out if we’ve done well enough to go to the final in Stirling.
I don’t really know what to expect but I know both Lindsey and I will do our very best and then we’ll see how it goes. I’ve never done anything like this before so just taking part is a big step for me. It would be so cool to go to the final but right now my focus is just on completing these qualifying workouts as well as possible.
