Safe travels

A beautiful day in Glasgow

My girls over for dinner

I made them my latest creation, vegan lasagne. It seemed to go down well!
Our lovely Marija who’s off on an exciting adventure! Excuse the dirty dishes in the background hehe.

Hi lovelies! Sorry for the silence on here today. I’ve desperately been trying to pop in on the blog and say hi at least but I haven’t sat still and had moment to myself all day pretty much. This morning I was at the gym. I then popped home for breakfast and had a shower before I headed out to go grocery shopping. The girls were coming over for dinner as our Marija is away until August, she’s going travelling in Asia. Lucky her!

I wasn’t sure on what to make them, Jamie thought I should go for my latest creation, my vegan lasagne. I’m still trying get down the quantities and measures before I share it here with you guys but I was intrigued to see what the girls would think so I went for it. I also made a nice little sweet treat for afterwards.

Before getting down to the actual cooking I popped by Marija’s for some tea in the afternoon. I just want to see her as much as possible before she leaves. I’m really going to miss her! After a really nice chat I had to head back home to get cooking. I love cooking and having friends over, it’s been a while since the last time.

The lasagne went down well, which made me so happy. Time just flew by and before we knew it, it was time to wish Marija safe and happy travels. We had gotten her a little travel diary for her to fill out during her adventure. I can’t wait to hear about what she gets up to.

Now it’s time for me to get to bed! Sleep well my dears xxx

Madeleine Moves is a blog celebrating a love of exercise, food, travelling and life. I love being active, exercising and being out and about. With my blog I hope to spread this joy and inspire you to be your best. Who am I? I’m Madeleine (surprise). I’m a Swede who lives in the vibrant city of Glasgow in Scotland. I moved here for my university studies and in summer 2016 I graduated with a degree in Business and Management at University of Glasgow. My keyword has always been balance. I love eating healthy food but I also love to indulge once in a while. You need to enjoy life at the end of the day and limiting yourself is not the way to go. With this I would like to say welcome to Madeleine Moves. Love, Madeleine
