Hi babes! Happy Monday! How are you guys? I had such a lovely end to the weekend yesterday. I started off with a gym session with Hannah in the morning. We worked our legs with some deadlifts, hip thrusts, goblet squats, kettlebell swings and cable kicks. I’ve never used the the cable machine before so it was fun to try out.
We finished off with some handstand drills. I can’t do handstands but it’s in my goals to be able to do one unsupported. The last time Hannah and I trained together I couldn’t do the drill in the photos above at all. I couldn’t climb with my legs up on the wall and move my hands towards it. I was terrified and didn’t have it in me. This time I was almost all the way to the wall. A little bit to go until I’m as straight as Hannah. She makes it look so easy! Couldn’t believe what a difference this was to the last time she tried to get me to do exercise.
After the fun workout I went home and got ready, packed a lunch and went to the park whilst Jamie was watching the F1. On a sunny day all I want to do is sit outside so I did not want to join him in front of the TV 😛 I just got a new book Big Little Lies which I started reading and it’s really good so far. Jamie joined me for a while later on in afternoon and brought me tea. What a guy 🙂
The rest of the evening Jamie and I just had a nice dinner together and went to bed quite early. It was so nice!
I’m soon going to get ready to head over to the gym SWEAT! in Skypark, they’re releasing new classes at their gym and invited me to their launch event. I’m looking forward to seeing what the gym is like, I’ve heard people talking about it but don’t really now what to expect. It’ll be a lot of fun to check out the new classes too.
