Good morning my dears! Happy Friday! We’re only a couple of hours away from the weekend. Have you got any nice plans? I’m dogsitting Kilo for Stella tomorrow and I’m so excited. I can’t wait to have him for a couple of hours. He’s so lovely. On Sunday I might be going somewhere outside of Glasgow with my sister Ellie and her boyfriend Hampus but I’m not sure (Jamie is unfortunately working).
Yesterday I was back at Fly Functional Fitness for another Fly Box class. It was Ross who led the class and it was so good. It’s crazy how much boxing takes it out of your arms. We finished with three rounds of assault bike, box jumps, ball over shoulder, squat thrusts and battle ropes. It was so tiring but oh so good to start my day off with an intense workout.
After a quick shower, wardrobe change and some make up (once again I struggled to put makeup due to my shaky arms haha) I took all my bags and headed over to the office to have breakfast before I started (it feels like I live out of my two bags these days 😛 ).
When I have breakfast at work I really try to make it as easy for myself as possible by measuring out my oats in a bag and chopping up my strawberries in advance. I must look so weird to my colleagues bringing in all my little containers of nuts, nut butters and glass jars with oat milk in haha. So high maintenance… But breakfast is my favourite meal of the day so I want to do it properly.
Later on in the day I walked up to AG Fitness for a meeting. I haven’t seen Andy for I don’t even know how long. The weather was just horrendous, rain pouring down. I got splashed by a massive truck and got soaked. It was not fun. I eventually got up to the gym and had a very nice chat with Andy. Luckily Nicola was out and about in her car so she could give me a lift back to the office.
After work I met up with Jamie to go grocery shopping and then we went home to tidy up the flat a bit and cook dinner. We then just relaxed the rest of the evening in front of the TV and tried to get an early night.
