Happy moments

Uncle Jamie meeting his niece for the first time
I was so happy to finally have her in my arms, as you can maybe tel (hello double chin haha)

Couldn’t get over her cuteness

Board game time!

Hi lovelies! I’ve just had one of those days where I’ve felt so hungry. I don’t know why. I just feel like there’s no end to my appetite. I’ve just had dinner and then eaten loads of peanut butter, perhaps not the best but peanut butter is just so good hehe. Sometimes I wonder if it actually was that good I found Suma peanut butter. I feel like I’ve been stuffing my face with it. I’m really struggling with portion control haha. I suppose there are worse things in life you could eat than peanut butter 😛

Yesterday we finally got to meet little Zara, Jamie’s newest (is that how you say it? my brain is not functioning at full capacity at the moment) niece. Jamie’s sister in law was up for a quick visit from Australia and brought Zara with her. From the moment we saw her we fell in love with her. So much love. I don’t understand how you can immediately feel such strong affection but babies are truly something special and beautiful. She was so little and light and so happy. I couldn’t stop smiling.

It was so lovely to see parts of Jamie’s family together. We had dinner and then played a board game Jamie’s nephew Taylor got recently. It was actually a lot of fun. I think it was called Labyrinth. Great for kids and adults!

It was amazing to start the week with some family time, it’s so relaxing. Even though Jamie’s sister and family live just outside of Glasgow, we have such busy lives it’s difficult to find the time to see them as often as we’d like.

We didn’t stay too late because Jamie and I were exhausted. As soon as we got home we went straight to bed after a little snack (can’t got to bed hungry!!). I needed to get up early to go to the gym before work. I had a good session in the morning but my back is feeling a little bit sore now. We’ll see how it feels tomorrow. Fingers crossed it’s all fine 🙂

Speak soon my lovelies,

M xx

Madeleine Moves is a blog celebrating a love of exercise, food, travelling and life. I love being active, exercising and being out and about. With my blog I hope to spread this joy and inspire you to be your best. Who am I? I’m Madeleine (surprise). I’m a Swede who lives in the vibrant city of Glasgow in Scotland. I moved here for my university studies and in summer 2016 I graduated with a degree in Business and Management at University of Glasgow. My keyword has always been balance. I love eating healthy food but I also love to indulge once in a while. You need to enjoy life at the end of the day and limiting yourself is not the way to go. With this I would like to say welcome to Madeleine Moves. Love, Madeleine
