Hands up if you love peanut butter and banana! I looove it. In case you haven’t noticed… A snack I’ve been munching away on lately that’s super simple and very tasty is this one just below. I have it before the gym in the mornings (have breakfast afterwards) and I have it as a snack in the afternoon too. It works for everything.
- 1 banana cut in half
- Peanut butter to your taste (make sure the peanut butter only contains peanuts and some sea salt, or even unsalted)
- Cacao nibs
- Coconut shavings
I really think instructions aren’t needed for this! Hope you enjoy 🙂
I didn’t use to be a fan of cacao nibs at all. I thought they were way too bitter but now I’ve become obsessed. It adds crunchiness and texture to anything you put it on and I love the chocolatey taste it has too. I’m a dark chocolate person, the more bitter the better and I think that’s why I like it so much. If you’ve never tried cacao nibs before it can be a strange flavour if you’re expecting them to be sweet, they’re very bitter (word of warning). If you’re not a fan of them you can of course add other seeds on top for texture such as sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds or even nuts. I also think a sprinkle of cinnamon on top could be tasty too if you’re feeling wild.
PS, I’ve finally gathered the courage to make a Facebook page where I’ll be putting up loads of fun content and things I come across online I want to share. I thought this could a be a great space to interact with you more. For some reason I’ve thought starting a page for my blog on Facebook is a very scary thing. I don’t like to wave my own flag and I was a bit worried about what people would think. I don’t know why, I don’t usually care in everyday life.
I think it’s because this blog is so personal and it takes guts to put yourself and your thoughts out there into cyberspace. The page is up and running and I hope it’s going to be another place for me to share what I love and hopefully help someone. It’s also a great way for you to never miss a post so please give it a like here (click).
