Hair intervention

The new veggie curry at Matha’s is incredible. Jamie had some of mine and said next time this is what he needs to order.

Love him so much!

Getting a hair cut was a long time coming

After- My mane is all freshened up and curly thanks to the amazing Samantha!

Hi lovelies! Hope you’ve had an amazing last day of the working week. I’m quite happy for the weekend to have started as I’m in some desperate need to relax and get some sleep. I need to get better at getting to bed earlier. I have to admit I haven’t been prioritising my sleep which isn’t good.

This morning I was at my final session at G5 for the week. Luckily it was a less intense one. Stella has been working us hard this week. Whilst it still wasn’t just a walk in the park, it felt considerably less tough than the past two classes we’ve had. I’ve really come to love doing a classes at G5 in the morning, then getting ready and going into work and having breakfast in the office before starting. It feels like a very productive but relaxed morning as I’m in the office about half an hour before I start without any stress so I can have some time to get my food together before it’s time to get working.

Work was busy today with lots of stuff happening and loads of fun things to plan. We had a really great team meeting as well. Jamie came into town around lunch time and we went to Martha’s for a quick lunch date. It’s one of the few ways we get to see each other when we’re both so busy haha. I’ll see more of him tomorrow before he goes to work too.

After I finished for the day it was time to head over to Alchemy (former Andersons) to sort out my hair. I haven’t cut it since February and I only realised recently how much it has grown! It’s a bit crazy. I really hate when my hair starts feeling dry at and getting split ends. It actually makes me feel really uncomfortable and paranoid, I have no idea why haha. I know it probably sounds a bit weird. So I was really excited for my hairdresser Samantha to sort my hair situation out. She’s incredible at what she does and I’ve never been happier with my hair since I started going to her. I don’t know what it is, but she does something. It always feels like I come in for a makeover almost. She makes me feel like a new person when I leave. It’s crazy what a difference hair can make. I wish I didn’t always have to cut so much off (I love long hair) but I’d rather my hair felt fresh. I need to make more of an effort to go more often and I probably won’t have this issue but I forget.

I’ve just had leftover chilli and baked sweet potato for dinner and am now just going to relax for the rest of the evening. I’m really looking forward to doing nothing and having an early night. Tomorrow I’m going to my friend Ross’s event at Down to Earth Organic at 9am so can’t be a super late one anyway. I’m really looking forward to the event. I think it’s going to be amazing!

Speak soon lovelies,

M xxx
