Friday night date night

Tiki Bar & Kitsch Inn have the best Thai food in Glasgow, hands down.
My man ❤

I was so excited for my curry

I had some delicious fresh pineapple for dessert

On Friday Jamie and I had a date night. An evening of getting a bit dressed up (for me anyway). No gym gear in sight and I even used eyeliner and a bit of eyeshadow for the first time in months! It’s nice to get a bit dolled up once in a while. As much as I love my gym clothes, living in it pretty much everyday makes it feel extra special to get a bit dressed up.

Jamie had the idea of going to his old work Tiki Bar & Kitsch Inn for dinner and then going to the cinema to watch Despicable Me 3 (we LOVE Despicable Me). I absolutely love Thai food and in Sweden we definitely have some really good Thai. Unfortunately the options here in Glasgow are few but luckily we’ve got Tiki Bar and the incredible chef Tommy that works there and cooks the best Thai food in town. Seriously. I’m obsessed with the red curry with tofu and veg and the veggie pad thai. They’re both unbelievably good. When the waiter asked us how the food was I said the only bad thing with the dish was there wasn’t enough. I was stuffed but just wanted more! I still managed to squeeze in some fresh pineapple for dessert (I left the cream untouched, just not a fan) whilst Jamie had a banoffee pie.

We got a bit carried away chatting at the restaurant and didn’t realise what the time was so we just managed to sit down in the cinema before the film started. Perfect timing! The film was funny but not as great as the first one, but we knew that was always going to be the case. I absolutely love little Agnes (how cute is she?!) and the minions. A couple of years ago I was even dressed up as a minion for halloween. I did however manage to fall asleep in the middle of the film for a couple of seconds. Ooops. Jamie just laughed at me and woke me up. Not used to being up late these days! In my defence I had been awake since 5.45am so I could go to G5 in the morning.

It was so nice to be out and just do something a bit couply together. When you’re so busy you do really value these moments of just being together.

Now time for open gym! Speak to you later lovelies xxx
