Brunch at The Finnieston

Bonte & Clyde are regulars at The Finnieston!

I was in dog heaven! Cute dogs everywhere all afternoon.

Yummy avocado & halloumi on sourdough toast with chilli jam

How cute is Bethany’s little Opie? Faye enjoying his adorableness.

I of course offered to keep him warm when it got chilly! Hehe

A very happy Maddie

Jamie eventually joined us when he finished work

Trying to get a nice picture of the three of us haha

Bethany and I managed to somehow make the exact same face unintentionally

There we are!

Hi lovelies! I had such a great time at Lean Canteen yesterday and my Instagram story is still up on their page if you want to have a little look at some of the incredible food they’re serving. The technology was working against me but I’m glad I managed to get some posts up on their story in the end! Jamie and I had a great time trying out what they had to offer whilst sitting in the sun. A blog post about our visit will be up soon so keep on eye out here on the blog!

Speaking of food, it feels like it’s all I’ve been doing the past couple of days is eating. However, food is essential in life so it’s inevitable to talk about it. That’s my excuse… Anyway, on Sunday after going to G5 with Faye I headed home to shower and get changed before meeting up with her again and our friend Bethany at The Finnieston. We used to all work together a while back and it’s always nice to see each other and catch up on what we’ve all been up to.

The girls were on the cocktails and was on the green tea. The sun was shining (sort of) and we were sitting outside. The beer garden got pretty busy during the many hours we sat there. We bumped into Ervin (a friend of Jamie’s) and his two cute dogs Bonte and Clyde while we were there. They are so adorable and really make me want a Frenchie (even though I like big dogs more). I just love how they sort of look like Stitch in Lilo and Stitch.

The beer garden pretty much transformed into a dog zone with all the dogs running around a playing. I love that The Finnieston is doggy friendly. Great for dog owners but also for dog obsessed people like me who love to be around dogs but don’t have one themself… Jamie eventually finished work and joined us for a bit before Faye and Bethany decided to move on and Jamie and I went on a hunt for food.

Such an amazing day with friends. One of those days you don’t keep track of time and just enjoy each other’s company.
