The cosiest start to the day

Hi babes! How are you doing today? Hope you’re having a beautiful day so far. The other day I was invited to T2 Tea fora breakfast event. In case you didn’t already know, I’m a huge fan of T2 Tea! Ever since they opened their doors here in Glasgow (Kajsa and I were there hanging on the locks pretty much on their opening day) I’ve been going in regularly to just browse about. It’s basically heaven for anyone who’s into their tea and they also have the most beautiful cups and teapots I’ve ever seen. I got Kajsa a set with a teapot and cups for graduation. I was very envious of that present haha. So when I received this invitation for the launch of their latest tea, Scots Breakfast, I knew I had to be there. I felt honoured to have been invited to try it out!

They had chosen the best day ever for a breakfast and tea event because it was absolutely freezing outside (might be that I have’t readjusted to the cooler weather but I was cold!) so being welcomed with a warm cup of tea the moment you stepped through the doors was just perfect. You all know my favourite type of tea is green tea so I’m not easily swayed away from it but yum, the Scots Breakfast was delicious. It’s a black tea with delicious flavours such as oats (no wonder I liked it), cinnamon and vanilla. It tasted like the exact thing you would crave on a chilly autumn or winter morning. The tea was served with soy milk and honey, I would probably have it with Oatly out of personal preference but it tasted delicious.

There were also plenty of cakes infused with the tea and berries to choose from and nibble on. I had already had breakfast so I stuck to my delicious cup of tea.

It was also really nice to meet other bloggers such as Molly from Fuelling the Fork and Kirsten from Letters from Marion. They were lovely!

Not only did we drink tea but we also got a mini matcha tea class from one of the lovely girls in the shop. I love matcha so it was cool to learn more about it. We got to try their original matcha and turmeric matcha. Both were lovely!

Before we left we got some goodie bags with the Scots Breakfast, Melbourne Breakfast and a tea siv. The best gifts ever! Love adding to my tea collection, the more teas to choose from the better.

Thank you T2 Tea for one of the cosiest events I’ve been to! I had an amazing time.
