Sunday hangouts

Faye and I struggling through her seeding workout for Rainhill

Of course Sunday means brunch! Waiting on a table at our favourite, Singl-end.

Their vegan breakfast is everything I love on a plate. If only it had hummus too…
A sneaky vegan lemon, blueberry and coconut scone to finish

Happy Monday my lovelies! I can’t believe how many of you who have read my post about Crossfit. I really hope you found some value in it.

Yesterday was a really nice chilled day. I went to open gym at G5 with Faye, her mum and Ross. Faye had to do her seeding workout for Rainhill to see in what category she will be competing. After the two sessions on Saturday I was feeling a bit tired and hesitated around whether I would join in to support her or just cheer her on. In the end the stubborn side of me won and I decided to join in.

Faye just flew through the workout whilst I struggled big time. Everything was sore but I’m so glad I did it because I felt loads better afterwards for doing it. Afterwards we did some front squats and then called it a day.

Since it was Sunday Jamie and I decided to go to Singl-end for some foodonce he had woken up. Recently I don’t think their food has been quite as good as it usually is but yesterday they redeemed themselves. It was delicious! I even had a scone because I felt like I wanted one.

Jamie then headed to work and I cooked dinner for Kajsa and Ellie coming over. We had a lovely evening and I completely forgot to take any photos. Once they left I crashed in bed before ten completely knackered after a busy weekend.

Time for a new week of life! I’m feeling excited!

Madeleine Moves is a blog celebrating a love of exercise, food, travelling and life. I love being active, exercising and being out and about. With my blog I hope to spread this joy and inspire you to be your best. Who am I? I’m Madeleine (surprise). I’m a Swede who lives in the vibrant city of Glasgow in Scotland. I moved here for my university studies and in summer 2016 I graduated with a degree in Business and Management at University of Glasgow. My keyword has always been balance. I love eating healthy food but I also love to indulge once in a while. You need to enjoy life at the end of the day and limiting yourself is not the way to go. With this I would like to say welcome to Madeleine Moves. Love, Madeleine
