The best post workout

How good does this look?!

Kate had the halloumi sandwich and Faye ordered their bircher as well as the avocado sandwich.

I got tempted by the vegan sandwich. It was insanely good!

Hi my dears! It’s Friday and I can’t wait for the weekend! Only a day left at work and then this evening Faye and I are having a girls night whilst watching our friend Bethany’s little dog Opie. I can’t wait! Faye’s cooking dinner and with her being the magic behind Coconut & Kale I know I won’t be disappointed, her food is always insane.

Speaking of food, of course Faye, Kate and I needed some food after our intense assault bike session the other day. After the class we waved goodbye to Ross and decided to head for Papercup. I can’t even remember the last time I was there. They have delicious food but during the weekends they’ve got queues out the door and I have felt a bit stressed sitting down there eating during their peak times because it has felt like they just want you to eat and leave as soon you’ve finished. I totally understand they’re a small place and they need to turn over tables quickly but it’s felt a bit rushed, which I don’t like. During the weekdays it’s a completely different vibe in there. Unfortunately I’m very rarely off then.

The food was sooo good. They change their menu with the seasons which I love. There was a lot to choose from and more vegan options than previous times I’ve been. I hadn’t had a sandwich in ages and was craving a bit of bread so I went for their vegan sandwich with tofu, sriracha sauce, avocado and pickled carrot in it. It was a flavour bomb, yum! Kate had their halloumi sandwich (a Papercup classic), it’s also ridiculously good. Faye had her bircher bowl with vegan coconut yoghurt she’s been talking about for so long as well as avocado toast. I tried a bit of her bircher and it was lovely!

I think we were there for almost 2.5 hours just chatting away and drinking tea and coffee. The time flew by and before I knew it it was time for me to head into town to get my hair freshened up. I always leave just that little bit too long between my visits to my hairdresser so my hair starts looking like a sad mop or something haha. It’s quite a bit shorter now but it feels and looks so much better. All ready to look nice in less than a week’s time when it’s time for SLTN Awards with Jamie. I really hope he wins this year!

Have a beautiful day,
