Sunday morning

Good morning lovelies! Despite how many times I’ve been told I completely forgot the clocks went back last night so when I woke up this morning and my phone said six I was really frustrated and tried to go back to sleep and after a long fight with myself I went back to sleep until seven. Then as my brain slowly woke up I realised that the clocks had gone back and I had almost managed to sleep for ten hours. It’s been months since I last slept for so long. It’s crazy how different your body feels after loads of sleep. You sort of forget how it feels when you haven’t done it for a while. Everything is feeling lighter almost.

I’m now sitting in front of a new Netflix TV show called Dynasty (the same people behind Gossip Girl has created it which is why I thought it would be worth a look). It’s definitely not Gossip Girl and I don’t really know what I think about it. I just don’t think any of the shows I am watching at the moment are that great. The new season of Crazy Ex Girlfriend wasn’t very good at all either so I don’t think I’ll be continuing to watch it. Maybe I’ll give Dynasty another couple of episodes to see what it’s like. It’s difficult to judge something on one episode. I miss being hooked on a TV show though, I’ve been obsessed with Desperate Housewives, One Tree Hill, Friends, Modern Family, 90210… Haven’t really found anything since.

It’s almost time to get the gym gear on and walk down to G5, the underground doesn’t open until 10 on a Sunday here in Glasgow. I’ve always found that a bit odd! It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful morning so I’m looking forward to stretching my legs on the way down in the sunshine though.

Later today Jamie and I are meeting up with my sister Ellie and her boyfriend Hampus. He’s over from Sweden visiting her for the weekend so it’s going to be really great to see them both for a bit. This evening Jamie and I are going out for dinner for our 5 year anniversary. Yes it’s finally happening haha. We are going for a trip later in November as well up to Aberdeen and St Andrews which we’re really looking forward to.

Now I need to stop typing! Have a lovely day,
