Yoga Saturdays

A very jazzy room in the Corinthian where we waited to be taken up to the class

Ready to do some yoga!

Hi lovelies! Saturday often means lululemon yoga for me! It was my friend Kyle teaching his Holy Hips class today, his classes are usually great fun so I of course had to go along. Throughout December the Saturday morning yoga classes in lululemon have been moved to the Corinthian. It’s fun to mix up the location a bit and it also means more people can fit into the class which is great!

I’d never been in the Corinthian before, same as a lot of venues where lululemon host their classes. It’s funny that a place like the Corinthian, where people tend to go for a nice night out, we all showed up in our gym gear early on a Saturday morning. Kyle made sure we worked our cores but also got a great stretch  during his amazing class and I felt so chilled during savasana at the end. I loved that my sister Ellie came along as well, she doesn’t do much yoga but did an amazing job. Faye was there too for the class before heading into work, workout and yoga partner in crime.

Since class I’ve taken it very easy. I got to see Jamie for a couple of hours before he went in to work, which was nice. Last time I saw him was Thursday morning. Ellie went home for a bit to get organised but just messaged me to say she’s coming over again! I love it. Last night we cooked a Thai curry and watched the Christmas film Nativity for the first time. It was quite cute and gave flashbacks to school plays when I was younger. Although ours weren’t quite as extravagant as the play in the film! Ellie and I were both saying it reminded us a little bit of School of Rock. We then managed to squeeze in another film, the first Bridget Jones film. Neither of us has seen that film for ages and it’s just so good! I’d forgotten it’s quite Christmassy, which was a bonus as all things Christmas is what I’m craving at the moment.

I have a feeling our hang out tonight won’t be much different this evening. I love being all nice and snug in front of the TV when it’s so chilly outside. We’ve even got leftovers from yesterday in the fridge which means we can just chill all evening long. Bring it on!

Whether you’re getting ready for a night out or snuggling up on the sofa like Ellie and I, I hope you have a lovely Saturday evening.
