Rawnchy Yoga x lululemon Glasgow

The girls asking Alice to be a lulu ambassador

Faye and I colour coordinated, unintentionally I must add haha.

What an evening filled with love! Unfortunately my sister couldn’t make it in the end but I was so happy Faye and I managed to get tickets to this. The evening started off with the amazing Alice leading us through an incredible yoga class. This girl is amazing at what she does. No surprise the lululemon girls then asked her to be an ambassador at the end of it! I messaged Faye earlier in the day about it and we were both suspecting she would be asked. Her class at West Brewery before Christmas was an absolute hit and the class we got to experience yesterday just showed once again what a fantastic teacher she is. She looked so surprised and so happy. It couldn’t have happened to a more deserving person. Congratulations Alice!

It was amazing to do some yoga to stretch out my body. I’ve actually felt quite sore recently after the classes we’ve been smashing out so this class was just what I needed. It was amazing to quiet my thoughts from thinking about Saturday and just focus on moving. Just doing something entirely different from all the training and high intensity stuff related to competing. It felt good.

After all the joy of Alice becoming an ambassador, Rawnchy who creates raw vegan desserts, had made some delicious Valentine’s Day treats for us to munch on whilst shopping. We all got a little bag of raw balls to take away, I’ve kept mine for Rainhill! Kate bought one of the raspberry and chocolate cupcakes to try. She so kindly shared it with Faye and I and oh my goodness, it was insanely good. It had so much flavour and tasted incredibly gooey and indulgent. Yum! Plus raspberry and dark chocolate is one of my favourite flavour combinations ever. It’s what I always get as ice cream when I’m on holiday, a scoop of raspberry sorbet and a scoop of dark chocolate. If you haven’t tried it you’ve been missing out my friends.

After yoga Faye and were both starving so we ended up at CCA for some food. We got to be each other’s Valentine’s dates, sitting there with all the couples haha.

I then headed home and feel asleep as soon as my head landed on my pillow. Absolutely knackered! However, I’ve started waking up around four or fiveish in the morning and am struggling to get back to sleep. Not ideal but I suppose it’s nerves…

Today I’m soon going to head to the gym, not to train I promise. Just to use the foam rollers and stuff to stretch out. I’ve got loads of packing to do before tomorrow as well so that’s going to be my priority for today so tomorrow gets less stressful.

Have a lovely day my dears xxx
