Madeleine Moves is a blog celebrating a love of exercise, food, travelling and life. I love being active, exercising and being out and about. With my blog I hope to spread this joy and inspire you to be your best self in life.
I’m a Swede who lives in the vibrant city of Glasgow in Scotland. I moved here for my university studies and in summer 2016 I graduated with a degree in Business and Management at University of Glasgow. After over 5.5 years in this lively city I’m just getting ready for my next big move in life, to Melbourne in Australia. This has been a big dream of mine for so long.
During my years at university was when I found a love for exercise, wellbeing and healthy eating. Before I was incredibly lazy and didn’t really care about what I ate and didn’t realise how my lifestyle choices made me feel. I never thought my life would take this turn but I now feel better than ever and have found a passion I never thought I would have. This even led me to do a Crossfit trainer course in 2018, which I passed and I can now call myself a Crossfit Level 1 trainer (still can’t believe that!). I hope with this qualification to help people even more to get fitter and healthier.
I also love trying out new gyms and classes wherever I go to show there is no one way to workout. You need to find what you love and what suits you! Don’t listen to everyone else. Listen to yourself, what gets you excited to train?
I’m no expert but would just love to share my journey with you and hopefully help someone along the way.
My keyword has always been balance. I love eating healthy food but I also love to indulge once in a while. You need to enjoy life at the end of the day and limiting yourself is not the way to go. With this I would like to say welcome to Madeleine Moves.
