Greaves Sports x adidas women event

Beautifully set up with some very generous goodie bags!

What is an event without delicious raw vegan treats? Of course from Faye’s Coconut & Kale

We were spoilt with so many goodies! Such as there strawberry smoothies.

Absolutely LOVE the peanut butter and cocoa balls. They are so good!
A super happy Maddie checking out all the new adidas goodies!
I had to show how incredibly kind and generous the adidas team were to us! We got to keep our yoga mat after the class. I was most excited about the towel! I’ve been needing a towel that doesn’t take up too much space in my bag for when I shower at the gym.

On Thursday I was invited to the launch of the new adidas women’s collection at Greaves Sports. There was yoga, eating and new gym gear on the agenda. Definitely my kind of event hehe. It was a great group of amazing girls there and really lovely to meet some of the adidas team who had made the trip up to Glasgow for the event.

The yoga was led by the amazing Clemmie. She’s a recent yoga teacher graduate at Kali Collective but you would never had known! Her class was amazing. I hadn’t done yoga for quite a while and I’ve been meaning to get back into it but just haven’t for some reason. This was just the class I needed to remind me how amazing it is to do yoga. Thank you Clemmie for reminding me how much I need yoga in my life. I really need to get back into going at least once a week like I used to do.

After yoga Faye had made lots of delicious things for us to eat whilst browsing the new clothes. I’ll never get over how delicious things she makes are. She’s insanely good at what she does. There definitely were some beautiful things in the adidas collection and the adidas by Stella McCartney collection that caught my eye. If only I would get paid sooner!

I should really be buying more normal people clothes and less gym gear but I’ve gotten to that stage that for some reason I can justify to myself buying more gym wear but not a new pair of jeans, when I actually only have like two pairs and I have like 9 pairs of leggings. Logic right there my friends! Are you guys the same?

I hope you’ve got some lovely plans today! I’m away to see my sister Ellie’s new flat. She just moved a couple of weeks ago and I’m really excited to see her first own flat she’s renting. She’s getting all grown up! She told me she would make us lunch, yum! I’m really looking forward to some sister time.

Speak soon my dears xxx

Everyone ready for the Fitt Principle’s StrongHer class

Hi lovelies! Hope you’re doing well and that your week is going amazing so far. Yesterday I had been invited by the lovely Ashley (who’s a PT for Fitt Principle and VM at the Nike Store) to Nike’s Women’s Event. Her and Stephen (who is the Fitt Principle) were doing a class and I was intrigued, of course I couldn’t say no.

I was there quite early so I got more than enough time to browse about in the store. I’m not in the Nike store very often to be honest so it was nice to see what they had to offer. There were lots of beautiful colours going on. The main thing I personally love about Nike are their trainers. I live in my Metcons, they’ve been a game changer for me in my training. I do probably need another pair of trainers but unfortunately I can’t quite justify splurging on a new pair at the moment. There were so many beautiful colours and styles of in. It was so tempting but I was good and settled for just doing some window shopping.

After hanging about for a while it was time for the StrongHer class. It was only a 30 minute class, which I didn’t mind since I had been to G5 in the morning 😛 The session had a lot of partner work in it, which was fun. At the end of the class I had to leave but it was fun to attend a Nike event and see what it was like. I can’t wait until I can go and get my hands on some trainers haha.

Thank you so much to Ashley for inviting me!

Like most other girls I love clothes! It’s so much fun to express yourself in clothes and with your own personal style. I wouldn’t say my style is incredibly fashionable perhaps but I like dressing nicely and adapt the trends that I like. Since becoming more dedicated to exercising I’ve found a new love for workout clothes. There is so much out there and my workout wardrobe has gradually expanding the over two years I’ve been a bit of an exercise addict. I love that nice workout clothes have become more accessible through shops such as H&M and Bershka launching sportswear because I am on a student budget after all and as much as I would love for my wardrobe to be full with Lorna Jane, Nike and Under Armour I can’t quite afford that. I love everything from black to crazy colourful tops, it depends a bit on my mood I think. Dressing in gym clothes that make you feel good about yourself motivates you more and makes you look forward to your session a tad more, don’t you agree? 🙂

I really feel I need to expand my clothing options but it will have to wait after all this moving madness! Maybe I will start posting some of the items I have been wanting lately? Tell me what you think!
